Data protection

rootx holds some of your most personal information — your plans, habits and money. Protecting it is the whole job. Here's how we do it.

Encrypted everywhere

Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on managed infrastructure with encryption at rest.

Your data is yours

We never sell your data and never use it for advertising. You stay the owner of everything you put into rootx.

Export & delete anytime

Take your data with you, or delete your account and its contents whenever you choose — no hoops.

Only what's needed

We collect the minimum required to run the product. No tracking pixels, no shadow profiles.

Trusted processors only

Limited third parties power core features — e.g. Google Calendar (only with your explicit consent) and our email provider. Nothing more.

Clear about changes

If our data practices change, we'll say so plainly. Questions are always welcome.

What we store

The content you create (tasks, projects, habits, notes, mindmaps, expenses), your account details, and your preferences. Calendar tokens are stored only if you connect Google Calendar, and only to sync the events and tasks you ask us to.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or permanently delete your data at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account removes your content from our active systems.
